Beautiful School Displays.
Each class was given the theme of ‘ Tree’ to create a display of their choice. We have had some very artistic displays throughout the school which I thought would be lovely to share with you all.

Black History Day in Elm Class
In Elm Class we learned lots about Mary Seacole and made a medal to say thank you to her for being such a brave lady. We also learned about black athletes such as Mo Farah and Usain Bolt. We then had our own mini Olympics!
Poetry Drama
Elm class enjoyed performing a seasons poem in groups in front of the class.
Measuring
We had a great time using cuisinaire and rulers to measure everyday items. We even used cm’s.
Dress rehearsal
After a successful dress rehearsal, KS1 are looking forward to their performance tomorrow.
Caring for animals
In RE we are hearing a range of different religious stories from a variety of different religions. Today we heard the story Prince Siddhartha and the Swan, which is a Buddhist story about caring for animals. We made posters about how we would care for animals.
Classifying 3D shapes
Elm class are learning to group 3D shapes in a variety of ways. They grouped the shapes by colours, whether they could roll and by how many faces or edges they have.
Story telling in English
Super story telling by these two pupils. Excellent use of adjectives, story language and expression! They know this story well. Beauty and the Beast experts. ??
Weighing- using grams in Maths
Elm class are using gram weights to work out how heavy or light objects weigh. Here are some photos of us in action!
