Book Exchange
Book Exchange returns next week! Years 4-6 will be in Monday afternoon and EYFS up to Year 3 will be on Wednesday. Children need to bring in a book, leave it in their bag and then when called they will have the chance to go to the dining room and exchange for a new one! Simple!
Year 6 Mini-enterprise businesses
The children have planned twelve business ideas for the school fair on Sunday, 30th June. Come along and try their ideas.
Lunchtime artwork!
Here is a great example of Andy Goldsworthy style art that the children did with Miss Benn on the KS2 field! I’m sure you will agree it is beautiful!
Reading homework!
Here are the winners for KS1, Years 3/4 and Years 5/6. Daisy from Beech was the EYFS winner. Well done to everyone for a great effort with this homework, as a whole staff we were very impressed!
Book Fair!
The scene is set! We are ready to take delivery of our book fair on Monday! We will be open straight after school all week. Monday will be in Larch Class and then in the hall for the remainder of the week. Come and support us, keep your children reading and help raise funds for our school library!
Rapid Fire 6Ts and Hockey House Event!
Today, we had our second house event of the year; rapid fire 6Ts for Y3/and hockey for Y5/6. A massive thank you to all the Y6 children who helped break up the ice patches and set up the equipment. An even bigger thank you to the referees who, as usual, did an amazing job at making sure all children were involved and kept a fair score.
We managed to have two games each, I will announce the winners in Talent Assembly tomorrow and present the winning house with their certificate.
Assembly
This morning we have enjoyed an assembly from Revd. Waddell. Mr Gray from Three Rivers Refugee Centre also came to personally thank the children for the donations made. May we take this opportunity to thank you all for the generous donations made to such a worthy and local charity.
