Zones of Regulation
Rowan have been learning about Zones of Regulation. This is an innovative initiative, which the whole school is adopting to support every child to find the tools to cope when they are in a specific coloured zone. We discussed and identified how we would feel in each zone. We also came up with coping strategies, when we go into a tricky zone.
Preparing our mugs
Rowan are preparing their mugs for printing and painting. Rowan were very lucky to have the services of Mrs Baker to help them mould and sculpt their mugs, using clay. We are hoping to finish them very soon. Here are some photos of us in action! 😄🎨

Perfecting our printing skills
Rowan have been using styrofoam tiles to draw their chosen patterns. They have painted their tiles and printed their design in their sketchbooks. Look how amazing they have turned out! I am looking forward to these designs being transferred onto clay mugs. 😍🎨

The children were excited to learn about the job he does and the potential jobs they may do in the future. These maybe jobs, which are not even invented yet! 😀🌏🚘🚊✈️💻⌚️📱
