Rowan class were visited by Rev. Waddell. The class had written a variety of questions to ask him about his role as vicar. Some questions asked were- Do you think God is a man or woman? Why do you wear a dog collar? How long have you believed in God?
In Science, Rowan class have designed and planned workouts for other groups to try. They evaluated the routines on their challenge and effect they have on the body.
The children had the opportunity to launch a new business venture. They had to work as a team to create a new health conscious restaurant. They also needed to design a logo, menu and talk about a healthy lifestyle. Here some photos of us in action!🍉🥕🌽🥛🍽

In Art, this term, Rowan are going to creating a piece of art in the style of Da Vinci. The children will be creating their own version of The Mona Lisa. In our first session we perfected the skill of toning and shading using paints.
We are perfecting our throwing and catching skills, in order to be effective fielders (in rounders). Check out our moves! 🎾😁
Rowan are continuing to flourish as they learn the rules and moves to play tag rugby. We are looking forward to the next tag rugby tournament. I think we have some future professional players coming through. 😄🏉
Rowan discussed forces and measured the weight and mass of an array of objects using a forcement. This measures objects in Newton’s ( measuring gravity). Here are some photos of us in action!
Rowan are deep in concentration as they watch the live lesson on the board (hosted by the BBC). The children were treated to some special story telling by the famous authors Malorie Blackman, Rob Biddulph and Cressida Cowell. What a wonderful opportunity, 📖📝😁
