Rowan class have been very crafty this morning! 😉 They have been creating a water wheel, in groups, using an array of tools and materials. Here are pictures of us in action! I am very proud of their teamwork and problem solving skills. Well done Rowan!😁
On Monday June 17th the school council were very lucky to be given the opportunity to visit The Houses of Parliament and speak to Mr Richard Harrington. The council asked some fantastic questions! Mr Harrington was very impressed by the council’s enthusiasm and how impeccably behaved the council were. Well done Tanners! As a special treat all members have received a special certificate.
In maths we are using scales on maps to help us calculate distance!
Rowan class were visited by Rev. Waddell. The class had written a variety of questions to ask him about his role as vicar. Some questions asked were- Do you think God is a man or woman? Why do you wear a dog collar? How long have you believed in God?
In Science, Rowan class have designed and planned workouts for other groups to try. They evaluated the routines on their challenge and effect they have on the body.
The children had the opportunity to launch a new business venture. They had to work as a team to create a new health conscious restaurant. They also needed to design a logo, menu and talk about a healthy lifestyle. Here some photos of us in action!🍉🥕🌽🥛🍽
Our lunchtime artists have struck again! Miss Benn has helped them to design another piece of symmetrical art using items from the field!
