In Holly Class we had great fun debating the existence of dragons. We used pictures as a sources of evidence that they exist and debated the validity of these. In the end the results were 17 to 7 in favour that dragons do not exist!
Today we played a game to learn about the quotient and remainders.
To get a sense of time we did some 1 minute challenges. We tried to see how many times we could jump, clap, and write our names in 1 minute using clocks to time ourselves!
Juniper class wrote interesting persuasive scripts to convince Ms Dickson she should buy a new IPad!
This afternoon Year 4 had a visit from Rev Peter who came in to answer questions from the children about Christianity, being a vicar, the Bible and things which happen in St Lawrence’s. We all found out a lot….your children asked really deep questions…. ask them what they learned.
Elm class are learning to group 3D shapes in a variety of ways. They grouped the shapes by colours, whether they could roll and by how many faces or edges they have.
