We really enjoyed playing with water today. We had to use mathematical vocabulary such as full, half full, the same as!
Outside music lesson!
We are really enjoying counting in 2’s and 5’s! We have learnt how to skip count!
Our next session will be in Pine Class on Thursday 26th April. Please bring along any books you have finished reading and exchange them with different ones!
Well done to KS2 for a super dodgeball event, great enthusiasm and enjoyment was shown by all. Thank you very much to the sports council for refereeing so well and helping the younger team members. We left the field alone- Y5/6 played on KS2 playground, Y3/4 in the hall and outside on KS1 playground. A great morning had by all! The photos below illustrate this.
As part of arts week Miss Hollis and her mum joined us to share their printing skills. We used a wide variety of objects to paint onto fabric. Paintbrushes were banned! The fabric will then be cut into leaves to make a Year 1 Tanners Wood tree.
A group of children from Tanners Wood took part in a run around Cassiobury park to help raise money for the Peace Hospice. Amy and Luke ran as representatives of KS2 and William, Freddie and Max ran as representative s of KS1.
We have since been informed that William, Freddie and Max came third overall in the race as a Tanners Wood team!
