The children enjoyed seeing everyone’s artwork on display in our own Art Exhibition today. We have some very talented artists at Tanners Wood! Well done everyone. The Exhibition will be open again tomorrow so please come along to the school hall from 3.20pm if you can.
Children enjoyed eating a specially prepared royal lunch with their friends on the field today.
Elm class have been reading the amazing book “Whatever Wanda Wanted.” Today the children are sequencing pictures from the book to retell the story. Wow! 😁
In Geography the children have been discussing the differences and similarities between holidays in the past and holidays now. We asked the children to bring in an array of photos of themselves, their parents and their grandparents on holiday as child, so we could see the changes.

To get a sense of time we worked on challenges such as can you write the alphabet in a minute? How many times can you clap in a minute? How many times can you hop in a minute?
Elm class are learning to group 3D shapes in a variety of ways. They grouped the shapes by colours, whether they could roll and by how many faces or edges they have.
66 Book Club are open in Hemel Hempstead this weekend, 10 until 6 each day. They can be found at 66 Wood Lane End, HP2 4RF and give between 70/80% discount on the thousands of books they have available! You can then come and exchange them after they have been read!
Elm class had a visit from Watford Schools Trust this afternoon. We learnt about the parable of the Lost Sheep with the help of our very own shepherd.
