In STEM week we created our own mini movies using puppets and a green screen!
Book Exchange returns next week! Years 4-6 will be in Monday afternoon and EYFS up to Year 3 will be on Wednesday. Children need to bring in a book, leave it in their bag and then when called they will have the chance to go to the dining room and exchange for a new one! Simple!
On Sunday 6th October , over 80 pupils and parents took part in the 1k, 3k, 5k or 10k runs around Abbots Langley. It was an amazing turn out and fabulous to see so many green shirts! We have, for the 3rd year running, won the ‘best attendance’ trophy so well done to all of those who took part. Look at our fabulous Tanners team!
Cypress have been using maps and atlases to explore different climate zones.
Clubs have started back this week. Colour and chat is a great hit!
Cypress tried speed stacking in PE today because it was raining! We found it’s a great way to improve our coordination!
Today we have been noticing the changes from summer to autumn. Look at what we found!
Today we learnt a poem about seasons. We rehearsed a verse in groups and added our own actions!
This afternoon we investigated push and pull forces by creating obstacle courses. We pushed and pulled air through straws to make a Pom Pom move round the course.
Due to the bad weather we were unable to visit Abbots Langley for our sports afternoon. Year 2 kindly let us join them for dancing!
