How to stay safe

As part of internet safety week, we looked at and disussed the importance of passwords. We figured out which passwords were poor and how to improve them. We learnt that you should use uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers in your passwords. We designed posters to help people to chose a safe password. 

iPads in Ash Class!

Ash class have thoroughly enjoyed using the iPads this morning to explore age appropriate apps.  As a class we explored using screen mirroring to project one of the iPads onto the Smart TV. The children were really excited to use Virtualu-tee to explore their bodies -check out the photos. The children took photos of each other – we think they did a fabulous job!

Oak internet safety

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Oak class completed activities linked to Internet Safety day. They answered a quiz and brainstormed the best responses in role play. They considered a range of role play scenarios such as nasty texts on a mobile or unknowable friend requests on an online game.


Safety online

Ash class have been learning about how to stay safe on the Internet. After watching a clip about which details not to give out, some children decided to create posters. Some superb examples of cursive handwriting , finger spaces and using phonics to spell new words.
