We looked at the Qur’an and learnt how Muslims are respectful to it.
Year 6 have been learning about how light helps us to see. They worked in small groups to create a human model to show this.
Juniper class took on character roles this week to prepare them for writing. They acted out a scene from a story and then wrote a diary entry from the point of view of one of the children in the story.
We have been learning about animals and their habitats. We looked in dark, damp places and found lots of different insects. We found a very unusual creature in the bushes. Can you spot it? We also looked in our pond and spotted a pond skater!
Fir class had a fabulous time dancing today. We tried to dance in time and copy the moves.
Ash class have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the lengths of different sharks. They counted in 5’s and worked out that Ms Schofield needed to lie top to tail six times to show the length of a basking shark, the second largest shark. They were very keen to find out how long a whale shark is as well.
In Cypress we have been learning to measure! We have learnt to measure in centimetres using a ruler.
