Holly class loved using the basketballs and hula hoops on their daily mile! We had a great time outside. Some of us tried hockey dribbling.
Today, Maple Class took a very active role in Sport Relief, doing some great work reflecting on what the charity does, before doing a slightly different daily mile. Many people bounced, dribbled, hula’d, threw and skipped their way to the mile today!
This week we have been looking at newspapers. We discussed where we find them, who reads them and had a discussion about why we read newspapers. We then worked in pairs to look at articles in different newspapers. We discussed what features we had found for a newspaper article.
It’s that time again! Bring books along to Pine Class after school today and exchange them for different ones! Restock your child’s bookshelves for free!
Ash class were shocked on Monday afternoon when they discovered a trail of tissues in the classroom! They had listened to a new story in teacher time and decided that Big Bad must have left the trail. The children explored the classroom for evidence using magnifying glasses and binoculars. They also used meter sticks to measure the trail. Meanwhile in the Role Play Area the children acted out the story of The Three Little Pigs.
