Outside music lesson!
The children played a mini tournament to celebrate their fantastic effort during their mock SATS week. The overall winner was Wilson house.
Today in Cypress we have been performing our seaside poems and filming each other on iPads!
What fun we had reciting our poems we made about the seaside! We were brilliant ‘Sound Collectors’.
We are really enjoying counting in 2’s and 5’s! We have learnt how to skip count!
Our next session will be in Pine Class on Thursday 26th April. Please bring along any books you have finished reading and exchange them with different ones!
The children used tone of voice, body language and facial expressions to retell an
adventure story called ‘Adventure at Sandy Cove.’
Well done to KS2 for a super dodgeball event, great enthusiasm and enjoyment was shown by all. Thank you very much to the sports council for refereeing so well and helping the younger team members. We left the field alone- Y5/6 played on KS2 playground, Y3/4 in the hall and outside on KS1 playground. A great morning had by all! The photos below illustrate this.
Our first activity this week was blacksmithing. We were lucky enough to have a blacksmith demonstrate and let the children help him make some of his shoes!
