Reception were very enthusiastic about going to watch ‘Tanners Wood’s got Talent’ this morning. They enjoyed watching the acts and were all very proud of a certain young man from Beech who confidently performed his magic act to the whole school! Their impeccable behaviour was commented on by lots of staff so well done to all. This afternoon Reception were treated to a fabulous performance of ‘The Jungle Book’. Once again lots of fun was had by all and all of Reception watched very sensibly.
This morning we had the thrill of watching the dress rehearsal for Tanners Wood’s Got Talent. There were a variety of amazing acts. Year 4 led the way with dancing, magic, art and comedy. Be sure to watch the full performance at 3:30 this evening. Tickets available on the doors if you’ve not ordered in advance….proceeds to a good cause!
The whole school enjoyed watching a drama production of the Jungle Book this afternoon.
In June, Oak class had an exciting opportunity to investigate light in a workshop….We made Kaleidoscopes, used periscopes, made shadow puppets and discovered how our pupils react to a change in light. Great stuff.
Year 2 had a fantastic day at Affinity Water. They went on a bug hunt, classified groups of animals and went pond dipping.
We have been reminding ourselves of what 1/2 is. We then moved our learning forward by investigating 1/4’s!
In Year 1 we are writing non-chronological reports about our learning.
